20 Scholarships for Left-Handed People (and right handed people)

20 Scholarships for Left-Handed People (and right handed people)

There are many famous left-handed people. One of which is President Barack Obama.

Two famous HBCU GRADS that are left handed are Oprah Winfrey and Spike Lee. Oprah is a graduate of Tennessee State and became famous via her talk show, The Oprah Winfrey Show. Spike Lee is a Morehouse graduate and became famous via his work directing movies like Do The Right Thing, School Daze, Malcolm X, Inside Man, Crooklyn and Jungle Fever.

According to experts, 10% of the world’s population is left handed. The brain functions differently for left-handed students than the right-handed ones. Left-handed learners are more creative in arts and music rather than logical or mathematical and analytical thinking like right-handed students. These scholarships are available for courses and talents dedicated to sports, arts, music, entertainment, athletics and more.

Being left-handed is harder than most people think. Throughout your schooling, you’ve had to uncomfortably adapt with desks, scissors, pencil sharpeners, computer mice, and three-ring binders designed for right-handers. The next obstacle to overcome will be college tuition. Rising costs make it essential to find unique scholarships for free financial aid. Remember that scholarships for left-handed students are rare, so apply liberally for any awards you’re eligible for. The lack of divide between right-handed and left-handed scholarships means there’s potentially millions of dollars available to you.
